The Hard Days

I know I will have them.

Some days I will wake up and my body will refuse to move the way it’s supposed to.  My knees will ache, my eyes will water unnecessarily, my breathing will be uneven.   I just can’t run or lift or do a push up to save my life.

I hate the hard days.

The hard days lead to the lazy days.  The lazy days lead to the giving up days.  The giving up days keep me from losing any weight.

The weight leads to depression.

It’s all a vicious cycle and it starts with the hard days.  How do I avoid them?  Or how do I get through them so that I can at least keep working out the next day and the next day after that?
